제목: 가상화지원 메인보드추천바랍니다.
이번에 xen 가상화서버를 구축하려 합니다.
intel-vt 지원하는 CPU와 메인보드
혹은
amd-v 지원하는 CPU와 메인보드를
선택하려하는데 쉽지가 않네요...
CPU는 인텔의 Core 2 Duo 와 AMD의 64 X2 를 쓰면 될것 같습니다만.... 문제는 메인보드에 있는것 같습니다.
Xen 매뉴얼에도 있지만 보드에서도 Virtualization을 지원하는 칩셋과 설정방법이 있어야 한다고 하는데... 매장의 전문가분들에 문의를 해도 신통치 않네요...
Xen을 이용한 가상화에는 para-virtual과 virtual 두가지가 있는데 전자의 경우 반쪽 가상화라서 않되구요...
후자를 지원해야 합니다.
전문가 분들의 조언 부탁합니다. 특히 메인보드 모델명을 알았으면 합니다.^^(벌써 두번째 메인보드 교체의 불상사를 격었습니다.^^)

이 보드가 가상화 기술을 지원한다는 것을 보니
콘로을 완벽하게 지원하는 메인보드는 기본적으로 인텔 CPU의 가상화 기술을 지원하는 것 같습니다.
가상화 지원하는 CPU와 P946 이상의 칩셋을 사용한 메인보드에서 가상화 기술을 사용할 수 있을 것 같습니다. 가능하면 965, 975를 사용한 메인보드에서는 가능하지 않을가요?
