This is an important news for those of you out there who are using a motherboard that utilizes the ALi Magick 1 chipset. For some reason, AGP is disabled with the latest Detonator drivers for motherboards that uses the ALi chipset. I ve found that you will experience a huge loss in performance, and once fixed, gives 20fps+ boost in everything. I found this out when I got a really low score in 3DMark with a GF4 Ti4600. Thankfully I found a solution to fix the problem, and here s how:
ÇØ°á¹æ¹ý :
Download and install Rivatuner and go to the Power User tab.
At the bottom, where the little icons are, click on the one that opens up a matched Detonator database.
It probably won t find the exact database for your drivers, so just tell it to load up the closest one that matches.
Now, click the + next to /System and scroll down til you see EnableALiAGP.
Right click it and click on the lighted lightbulb.
Reboot, and VOILA!
You should experience a major boost in performance. I ve went ahead and let NVIDIA know about this problem, so hopefully it ll be fixed soon.
