Update : We ran the diskmarks on a Maxtor ATA-133 7200RPM on the HPT372 supported IDE port and obtained these results.
Business DiskWinmark : 12,000 (6,930 on ATA100)
High End DiskWinmark : 28,700 (23,100 on ATA100)
We can see that when the Maxtor ATA-133 HD is attached to the ATA-133 interface, the Business DiskWinmark has the greatest improvement of 73% and 24% respectively.
