Win98SE, WinME, Win2000 SBLive 5.12.01.3300 WDM Drivers
Don't use any download managers tools like GetRigth, Download Accelerator,
Go!Zilla or any eles like it may not work here.

6/24/2001: I restore back the old INF due to Win98SE and some time WinME can't
read the big INF just over 60kb dran and I also fix it if you do del wdma10k1.inf
you get joystick.midi port back thur the ctljystk.inf.
What New
Is should fix spdif out in WinDVD 2.3 or get the WinDVD 2.6.35 patch or higher in
WindowsME/2000, from what I can tell it dose work.
I'am try fine out why Win98SE was working one time with the spdif not gray out but
now it is gray hmmm.
Also few people have had lucky with SMP system I don't know for sure on that one.
EAX seem to be a tab bit better.
Other Notes Both OS:
The older NoN 5.1 LW3 applications will not work you must uninstall it frist,
Thoses with SBLive 5.1 card shouldn't have much of a problem with LW3 it come
with being it has newer ver applications.
I add in self run drivers update for Windows 98SE/ME.
My SBLIve Value is rev 1 is very frist SBLive Value that come out just so you know.
How Get DTS working
Click there to see DTS ON in WinDVD.
Open the Mixer change Spk to Live!Surround
You need pick the rigth Spk setup with in WinDVD 4spk or 5.1spk in the Audio tab
note if you system drag try pushing stop then play after getting pass the Main DVD
menu there the play button is, One other note you should this any way so the DTS
will kick in and the icon will show up to in WinDVD.

WindowsXP How to add in AudioHQ in to WindowsXP.
1: Download the SBLive! 5.1 Series LW Package for Win2k it should be

Save any were you like, run SBL51_W2k.exe it will unpack it self in same folder
move thoses file in to a new folder.
2: Open notepad add the line "sbl51 /w" without quotes save as run.batin same folder where you put the unpack the drivers & applications at.
A big thank gose to Christopher Hill for the command line switch.
3: Dbl click on run.bat click next then stop rigth there useing the windows key
on key board with the Windows Explorer all ready open you need to go to
?:Documents and Settings(Computer Name)Local SettingsTemp folder copy the
SBL51 folder to c: then exit the installer you need clear out your temp folder
and any sub folder in there then empty Recycle Bin.
4: Go to ?:SBL51AudioEnglishSetup folder then dbl click on
AUDIO.INI scoll down in tell you see the line "WinDrv = 1" change it to
"WinDrv = 0" close notepad and save it.
5: run ?:SBL51AudioEnglishSetupsetup.exe do a custom install
"DO NOT mess with anything" just click next & install.
Everything should now work other then you will not have CL Launcher on top
dran but I live hehe.

SBLive! 5.12.01.3300 WDM drivers
Windows 2000 user all you need to do is run upddrv2k.exe then reboot
win it done install or go thur the Device Manager and update the
drivers if don't went LW3 install.
Win2k user here how to get the newer 5.1 LW3 applications to work on NoN 5.1
cards, but the CL Launcher will not work "HANG" so you need unistall LW3 you
have now this for thoses with the NoN 5.1 cards only.
1: Frist Close all LW3 apps frist then you remove from the Device Manager
under "Sound, video and games controllers"
"Creative SB Live! (WDM)" or "Creative SBLive! Value (WDM)" and the
"Game Port Creative SB Live!" rigth click uninstall.
2: Start | Control Panel | Add-Remove Programs look for "Sound Baster Live!"
or "Sound Baster Live! Value" uninstall everything yes drivers to.
3: Open Windows Explorer go to ?:WINNTinf click on the that folder then
click on Search type in Containing text box "SB Live" without quotes
then you see a few Oem[x].inf del them before you reboot & be sure to
empty Recycle Bin "DO NOT DEL wdma10k1.inf".
4: Del the folder Program FilesCreative
5: Reboot it should reinstall buildin drivers if not don't worry about.
6: Download the SBLive! 5.12.01.3300 WDM drivers unzip and run upddrv2k.exe
click yes to the not driver signing if it popup them wait a few min's before reboot.
7: Download the SBLive! 5.1 Series LW Package for Win2k it should be

SBLive! 5.12.01.3300 WDM drivers
Windows 98SE/ME
It very good idea only use them on clean install of Windows98SE/ME or
update from WDM driver that you have install from a clean of Windows98SE/ME.
DO NOT UPGRADE from VXD TO WDM you be sorry you did that.
Note: If you are upgrade the WDM to WDM it best to go thur the Device Manager for
now I just find that the upddrv98.exe dosen't copy over the new file rigth sorry.
Works dran good on clean install oh well I try to fix.
1: Download the SBLive! 5.12.01.3300 WDM drivers unzip and run upddrv98.exe
