현재 DDR266메모리를 공식적으로 지원하는 i845E의 다음버젼 칩셋인 i845PE칩셋을 채용한 메인보드가 등장했다.
GM845PE라고 불리우는 이 메인보드는 이미 i845E보드에도 채용되어있는 ICH4와의 조합을 이루고 있는데 i845PE와 기존 i845E의 차이가 있는 부분인 DDR333의 공식지원을 빼고는 기존제품들과 별다른 차이가 없어 보이는 제품이다.
아직 이 제품의 제조사등은 이 정보가 올라와있는 사이트가 중국어권이라 알아볼수는 없지만(ㅡㅡㅋ) 성능 테스트결과도 올라와있는데 별다른 차이는 없어보이며 이 제품의 대략적인 스펙은 아래와 같다.
