ATI R200
(Radeon 2) Coverage
Nice, System Logic posted info from a site called Brainbox who where able to
obtain a ATI R200 (Radeon 2).
They also posted some information regarding the
card, howevere this is not verified.
- Will boast 4 rendering pipelines, clocked at 250MHz, which will run in sync
with 250MHz DDR SDRAM.
- It will be DirectX 8.1 Compliant
- Just as the The Inquirer speculated, the card will be AGP4X not AGP 8X
- It will have these features:
- Charisma Engine II
- N-Patch Engine (Trueform)
- Programmale Vertex Shader
- Pixel Tappestry II
- 4 Rendering Pipelines (Unkown number of texels/pipeline)
- FSAA Support
- 128-bit Dual Channel SDR or DDR
- HyperZ II
- TV-Out (Built in to the chip)
- Video-In Built In
- A DVI Connector
- HDTV/DVD Decoder Built In
- Most likely on a 0.15 micron process
