AMD사에서 새로운 Desktop AMD Palomino CPU의 이름을 Athlon4 또는 Athlon을 붙히지 않고 AMD XP로 사용하기로 했습니다.. 이유는 무엇을까요..???

Breaking news here....as EPoX has released a BIOS for the 8KTA3 mainboard stating "To support AMD Palomino (Athlon XP CPU) & Morgan CPU"...i'm actually able to confirm this....as this is not the first place/time I have heard this name mentioned....just today one of my sources told me that this was indeed the name AMD had picked for the Desktop Athlon 'Palomino' !!!
The successor of the present Athlon the "Thunderbird" which should see on the 8/9 of October the light of the world, will call neither Athlon 4 nor Athlon per still simply Athlon. The choice(election) fell on Athlon XP. Where from we know this? The newest BIOS update for the EPoX Mainboards of the 8KTA3 serie has aired the secret early. In the Releasenotes stands as of course:
